Perth Festival of the Arts is an annual 11 day May Festival, founded in 1972, and taking place in the City of Perth in Scotland. It is now in its 45th Year and is one of the oldest continuously running arts Festivals in Scotland. It started as an opera and classical music festival in the early ’70s and now covers all artforms.
The programme ranges from Nigel Kennedy and The Moscow Philharmonic to Marcus Brigstocke, The View and Justin Currie and much in-between.
This event is one of the mainstays in Perth’s bid to become the UK City of Culture 2021
Of course it goes without saying that if you are looking for somewhere to stay during the Festival then Crieff is only a short distance away and we would welcome you at Galvelbeg House.
