This is a short story Helen Grant was commissioned to write by artist June McEwan, for a youth arts project. The story had to be about MacRosty Park in Crieff, Scotland, and suitable for a family audience. It was subsequently used as the starting-point for a short animation created by young artists.The action of the story is based on the real life history and topography of the park, although the characters are of course fictional.
Any profits made from the sale of this short story on kindle will be donated to the Crieff Arts Festival and used to support local arts in Scotland.
